Meet New Members of Our Creative Team!

We are pleased to announce the addition of two new members to the creative team at Vital Companies. Please join us in welcoming them! (Feel free to say hello and drop them a note!)
Jackie Murphy, Creative Director
jmurphy@vitalcompanies.com

With more than 16 years of experience in design, marketing, events, P.R. and running her own business The Queen Bee Paper Company, Jackie brings to Vital a fresh take on creative, marketing, branding and overall project management. She’s been freelancing the past few years in agencies, promoting local, and buzzing on social media as the “queen bee.” One of her passions is the Drexel Theatre where Jackie has been integral in increasing the local theater’s brand awareness through social media, graphic design, events and collaboration with area organizations and businesses. Outside of work, she loves watching her two teens play baseball and volleyball, going to concerts with her husband Tim, seeing movies and trying new places to eat. We’re thrilled to have her perspective and energy that will complement and lead our creative team at Vital.

Favorite films: Braveheart, Life is Beautiful

“We are so excited to have Jackie leading our creative team. She brings a wealth of knowledge from her years of marketing experience and a wonderful energy that fits perfectly with our clients and our internal culture.” - Jason Clayton, CMO/Partner

Gabriel Kaunitz, Technical Coordinator
gkaunitz@vitalcompanies.com

After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television from Savannah College of Art and Design, Gabriel moved to the thriving film mecca Albuquerque to expand his technical skills and expertise at a production and post company that supported filmmaker and agencies. Touted as the “utility guy,” Gabe further honed his shooting, coloring, editing skills before heading to his hometown of Charlotte, NC. As Assistant Editor and Colorist at the digital agency Tattoo Projects, he worked on digital and commercial projects for Victory Motorcycles, Sheetz and Hostess. Wishing to move to Ohio where his wife Nancy is from, with their two-year old son Gideon, Gabe connected with Vital and joined the team. We knew we had to have him as part of our team after we saw his ability to string together a story from random assets. (Just a little test we give to our production hopefuls!)

Favorite films: American Beauty, Jarhead

"We are thrilled to be able to provide a new creative home for Gabe, and welcome him to the Columbus creative community." Fred Blitzer, CEO/Managing Partner
